ya' know what ya' do

I could be "wrong"
it happens once-in-a-while,
I've noticed that "wrong"
is never out of style

doing "right" things
gets old and dusty,
no sex before marriage
is old fashioned and rusty

bell bottoms come in
straight legs go out,
"wrong" gets the limelight
"right's" having a drought

why legislate morals
and make teens have the kid,
abort the unwanted
or pay to get rid:

of those no one wants
to pay for or raise,
ya' know I could be "wrong"
but "right" deserves praise.

don't take my word for it
look at our lives,
watch for consequences
as judgment arrives:

in the fullness of time
all will learn anew,
it's not what ya' know
it's what ya' do.
