Transportation Security Administration?
TSA has instituted The Secular Answer to terrorism at airports. This has caused unfavorable consequences as evident by the public reaction to intrusive pat-downs. With that said, do we really know of a viable alternative? The media states that we are divided, 50% against and 48% for the searches and 64% for and 32% against full-body scanners.
It seems all are considered guilty in an attempt to deter or capture the wicked.
Let's look at what I consider covers this issue and every issue we face today.
The Pat-down is offensive for obvious reasons; we just don't enjoy being groped by complete strangers and being frisked is, or should be reserved for criminals. Full body scans are offensive for obvious reasons. The TSA secular answer falls woefully short.
Another popular, possible, answer is the Israeli model; which is politically incorrect in the USA as it is "blatant profiling". The thought is that security measures should minimize the impact on the public by reserving the most intrusive searches for those who meet the terrorist profile.
Additionally, the Israeli model interviews every passenger and depends on social behavior analysis to weed out the wicked. This too, while deemed superior to the US model, is also flawed.
Yet another proposed answer is background checks; that is, every person wishing to fly is subject to serious background investigation prior to flying; again, this is not viable as we don't have the resources to check every person that would like to fly within, to, or from America. If we could investigate properly, we would still have the problem of sleeper cells. The terrorist could just implant a person with a clean record for a few years and then strike.
The three (above) secular answers which, due to the lack of spiritual awareness, are decisions that fail to bring a desired solution.
Unfortunately, as a world, we have gone far from the only solution; that is being rightly related to God. We have lost the understanding of what solves the issue, a change of the human heart. We, mankind, are morally bankrupt.
Most of us have been proselytized by the world, we have been converted to the world system. How are we doing?
Terrorism, wars, murder, rape, sexual immorality, political unrest, economic hardships, disease, earthquakes, famine etc. etc. with no solutions in sight. This is the plight of the world apart from God.
The world system rejects the authority of God, wants nothing to do with Him and He simply, grants their request.
Because I know you are being proselytized secularly, 24 hours a day; I'll, unashamedly, only take 5 minutes to convey the only hope for you, as an individual.
God loves you and desires a person relationship with you that is real. That relationship is via The Lord Jesus Christ and Him alone.
The ultimate question is; have you trusted Christ as you personal Lord and Savior?
