Forums are an antichrist?

As you probably know, the theological definition of antichrist is Satan(The Antichrist), or someone and anything that is against Jesus Christ.

I recently decided to leap into this MYSPACE culture I've read and heard so much about. I came to it with some preconceived notions and, unfortunately, they were correct. I began by creating a basic MYSPACE page and placing things there that are important to me. No problem.

Then I decided I would dive into the forum world of MYSPACE. I chose the Love & Relationships, Religion & Philosophy forums.

For the most part, I found that Christians (those who genuinely trust Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior) are not welcomed on either forum; again no problem. This was affirmation of my thoughts prior to jumping in. With that said, what I came away with was a concern for believers on MYSPACE. I'm prayerfully writing this, primarily, to them.

Know Your Adversary

Those who post negatively on MYSPACE are not your enemy, they are enemies of Christ and The Enemy is behind it all. Jesus said:

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. John 15:18

Understand their condition

The fool (the insane person) hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. Psalm 14:1

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,...Romans 1:21-22

But God commendeth his love toward us (and everyone), in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Romans 5:8

Don't fall into the trap

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Ephes. 4:26

Yes! I like that, Christians can get angry. It's the sin part is what we struggle with.

The Enemy wants you to behave like those who have no hope. Those who don't know Christ are doing what comes naturally.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Cor. 2:14

On the contrary, all of our relationships should bring honor to, and please, God. Yes, this is a test of our faith. Ya know, a simple definition of faith is: "taking God at His Word."

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1 Peter 5:8

Additionally, know your position in Christ

We love Him because He first loved us.

To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. Ephes. 1:6

We too were once lost and deserve a place in hell.

Hell isn't hell because of the fire, beware!
Hell is hell because Christ isn't there

Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21

We are to plant and water, God gives the increase.

On the Love & Relationships forum, someone asked "What is Love?"
God is love. No relationship can ever be ideal apart from Him. A person dies approximately every 13 seconds. Our love for Christ, and what he's done for us should drive us to reach others for Him.

Finally, it is the hope of abundant life here and a home in heaven for every person on topside of earth that keeps me motivated to take any verbal abuse a deceived person has to offer. I'll take it daily in the hope that I might win one.

Go forth and declare the good news, Christ died for sinners.

Conclusion: Pray God grant you the grace to either ignore negative replies to your posts, or to answer them positively.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4
