I thought it might be interesting to record the claims and counter-claims (i.e. mud slinging) leading up to the election "08." This first writing concerns the allegations concerning marriage, divorce and the infidelity in the lives of Ms. Hillary Clinton and Mr. Rudi Giuliani. The interesting thing about this mud slinging is that the candidates aren't the slingers; it's the media. The question that's being asked is whether it's better that Senator Clinton "stood by her man" or that Mr. Giuliani ended a marriage instead of hanging in there? The infidelity aside, my contention is that they both may be wrong: Senator Clinton did the right thing the wrong way. Senator Clinton forgiveness appears to be ingenious as she hasn't steadfastly denounced her husband's activities, by doing so consistently, and still forgiving; she would have really made an impact; that is God's method. Mr. Clinton's admission appears phony as he only did it only when cornered. Additionally, there has been no genuine repentance in his statements; again, God's method for someone who is worthy of forgiveness. Mrs. Clinton did the right thing as forgiveness is what God says is best; as He hates divorce but, are her motives wrong? God knows. Mr. Giuliani’s' lack of knowledge about the marriage covenant leaves much to be pondered. It appears that his
personal perceived happiness is paramount in his thinking. Again, God's method is reconciliation; He hates
divorce. Mr. Giuliani may have left his marriage amicably, improved his current situation, provided sufficient
fund for his ex-wife but, are his motives wrong? God knows. |
