"On The Wing"

Answers to questions:

"Why are there so many religions and gods recognized in the world?"

This is an interesting question; firstly, one must understand that I am totally convinced of this:

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.1 Tim. 2:5-6

Therefore, all other "religions" and "gods" are nothings. Here's why. The bible is clear that; In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1. Everything, including us, was created by Him and He rules and reigns. This means we must stay with the program He established before the foundation of the world.

Thus, the reason there are so many different beliefs is that we (mankind) want/s to do things our way and not bow to any authority. In short, we want to be "the masters of our fate." Ironically, this is exactly what is happening. We are getting our desires to our detriment.

What most fail to realize is that God is longsuffering but His boundaries never change. Way back when, in the fullness of time, God saw the heart of man was evil continually and He sent the flood; farther down the corridor of time God saw the nations of the world, once again, wholly turned to idols and He sent The Son to be the Savior for sin. Today, we are still in this age of grace. Eventually, the age of grace will end when our sin and rejection of Christ ushers in God’s wrath, the removal of The Church, and the great tribulation period.

Bottom line: An "idol" mind is the devil's workshop. Pride, and the inability or choice not to humble ourselves and recognize we have a need that only God, in Christ, can fill is what makes us create "religions" and "gods." Anything apart from Christ, is not of God. Remember, Christianity is not a religion, it is a love relationship and you either have that personal relationship with Him (Jesus Christ) or you don't. If you don't...

...consider Chirst, nothing else works.
