"CONNECTIONS"
Answers to questions:
What’s the deal with dreams, scriptural or scary?
This is another interesting question. When it comes to our personal dreams, I am of the opinion that it’s garbage in, garbage out. Meaning, when we go to sleep at night our minds detach, and what we have allowed to enter into our lives, comes to the surface. Some dreams are so twisted that they become a blessing in that I’m so thankful to wake up in Christ; knowing that they are just dreams. As far as scripture goes, Daniel and Joseph are great examples of how God used dreams to support His sovereign plan. With that said, God is not speaking to us via dreams today:
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Hebrews 1:1-3
I am so thankful that my last thought before going to sleep, and my first thoughts in the morning are of my God, Lord and Savior; but the in-between time is still a mystery, and at times scary.
