It is good to know that the dead are not aware of what’s going on back here. How do I know this? Well when one passes he or she is destined to be either in the presence of God, or separated from Him, for all time. Either way, they are too busy to be occupied with the cares of this world. And besides, God is able to handle things quite well down here without the help of the living or the dead. Those gone are either worshiping God or in torment unmentionable. With that said, this is not the reason for this writing, even though it would be refreshing to pen something new. Unfortunately I must address, once again, an issue of the present hour which is: There are all sorts of rumors and interviews being held weighing the prospects and ramifications. The truth is, this is yet another cover-up. An attempted deception to make an unknowing public more tolerant of the homosexual cause. This attempt, like all the rest, will fail. A paraphrase from one comment was: ”Well, Alexander the Great had homosexual tendencies, and the American Medical Society has changed and no longer cites homosexuality as an illness. Therefore, if Abe Lincoln was gay it isn’t as big of an issue today”. Here we go again. Whether it’s Alexander, any society, Mr. Lincoln or anyone who practices homosexuality, it’s wrong and will never be right. Let’s here the conclusion to this matter:
Homosexuality, like all sin, is wrong because God says so. No sin, including homosexuality, will enter the Kingdom of God. God is pure, holy and undefiled and He “changes not”. He cannot co-exist with sin. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Therefore, we must get with God’s program and have abundant life here by repenting and trusting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. By doing so, we have the added bonus of entering Heaven someday. Contrariwise, if an unbeliever chooses to go his own way, the cut-off (or grace period) is the first death. The decision made down here determines if he passes-on to life or the second death. The hope of the believer is a win-win situation. Either he will rejoice in the rapture while down here or rejoice in being absent from the body in the presence of the Lord. So Abe can rest easy, if he did what God required while he was here, honest.
