The Supreme (court) Rules

Balance of the court in jeopardy?

As we embark (1 July 2005) on the frenzy surrounding the process of choosing a new Supreme Court Justice; let me put your mind at ease. I know it's tempting but, I recommend a media fast. I will lead the way by instituting my own first media fast of this coverage. This has the potential to be very ugly. With this said, this too shall pass and is vanity.

You and I don't have a vote and our high-blood pressure won't sway the President's choice or a single Congress-person's vote.

My reason for minor concern is two-fold:

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Philip. 4:6

This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men. Daniel 4:17

Therefore, I'm able to fast and pray, leaving it to the One who has all the power. The Sovereign God of the universe is in control. Having a personal relationship with Him, through His son Jesus Christ, and understanding that the Bible provides answers during these times is priceless.

1 + God = Majority

There's never a split decision with Christ, He rules.
