From out of the heart...

The mouth speaks...

The "Rev" Jesse Jackson, like all of us, demonstrated that character is defined by what we do when, we think, no one is watching. The problem is, someone is always watching. "Rev" Jackson's offensive comments toward Sen. Obama caused quite a stir but was, once again, revealing of someone who claims to know God but never attributes the power to Him. The problem is that everyone wants to do what is right in their own eyes.

God has established boundaries from the beginning of time. He is the one who determines right and wrong and it never changes. God is the one that is watching and no sin goes unnoticed and unpunished; just as no right goes unrewarded. Initially, it was amusing to here Mr. Jackons's gaff but as I got to thinking it became quite sad. But, God's principles never fail:

For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. Mark 7:21-23

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7

Guard your heart, give it to Christ.
