THE BLOG SOLUTION: Spewed out of His mouthThe Lukewarm Middle EastLooking at the current situation through secular eyes, the Middle East/Africa region; Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Libya, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen etc.; appears to be heating up; or as the media puts it, there's an "Arab awakening" happening. Actually, Biblically wise, things are just coming to there natural conclusion. Have you noticed that all of the leaders of these nations attempt to be "secular"; that is, biblically speaking lukewarm. Therefore, the nations they represent are in trouble as they reap what they have sown. You see, leaders (or the individuals they represent) cannot be neutral in God's economy. You are either with Him or against Him. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7 The warnings in scripture are clear concerning mankind's responsibility to God. Leaders that insist on being neutral (i.e. secular); that is, not dogmatically for or against The One True God, inevitably fall. When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. Proverbs 29:2 Some say, having a secular worldview, that this movement will lead to more democracy in the region, while others are fearful of radical influence. The believers, those with a Biblical worldview are simply praying, and watching to see what God's doing or allowing. And yes, He is always at work. God is in control of this situation and it will end exactly where it needs to be to fulfill His ultimate plan. Although we can't foresee the outcome of the current uprisings; we can be sure that it won't end in regional peace. Only Christ can, and will, bring peace when He returns to put away the sin curse. When He comes as King and reigns as The righteous dictator there will be peace. Until then there will be turmoil in the Middle East, and here. Yes, have you noticed that America is a little lukewarm? So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Rev. 3:16 Put your trust in Christ; it is the only escape. Nothing else works.
